Avoid the Shopping Crowds
Social media is great for connecting people. But sometimes, you'd rather just avoid people. This web app aggregates location-based social media data to give the user real-time estimates on crowd levels in Amsterdam's main shopping districts. We developed this prototype before Google Maps began including crowd levels at popular locations. I never became a billionaire off this idea. But I did win at The One Show and Dutch ADC. Ha! Who's laughing now Sergey Brin?
